A scheme of work defines the structure and content of an academic course. It splits a curriculum into deliverable units of work, organized into lessons, weeks, term and subsequently a year. Each unit (strand) is subdivided into teachable subtopics (sub-strands).
Schools Net Kenya Schemes of Work are meant to support teachers in teaching and learning process. These schemes are not an end to unto themselves but can be enriched by individual users to suit teaching and learning needs.
